The Maya application environment is provided by Amazon Web Services and managed by Weill Cornell ITS services.
Additional functionality for the Maya application such as registration, authentication, push notifications, and monitoring is also provided by various components of Amazon Web Services.
Data on IP address, phone carrier, city, name and email address are collected on these platforms by Cornell (WCM).
Maya application usage and analytics are stored anonymously in an additional environment operated by Heady, LLC on behalf of Weill Cornell and the Maya application.
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or Protected Health Information (PHI) is separated from program analytics and at no time outside of WCM environments is PII or PHI exposed or at risk. All data is transferred using secure TLS connections. WCM uses appropriate Administrative Safeguards, Physical Safeguards and Technical Safeguards to prevent the inappropriate use or disclosure of PII or PHI.
