Child and Adolescent Fellowship

Child and Adolescent Fellowship

The NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program, a joint collaboration with Weill Cornell Medicine and the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons Department of Psychiatry, develops excellent clinicians and fosters future leaders in the field of child psychiatry.

Strengths of the Program

NewYork-Presbyterian offers one of the top psychiatry facilities in the country. Weill Cornell Medicine and the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons are also fortunate to feature two nationally recognized departments of psychiatry as well as two distinguished divisions of child and adolescent psychiatry. This wealth of knowledge and resources provides trainees with access to a large, renowned faculty and a remarkable array of on- and off-site training opportunities, resulting in a residency training program with exceptional clinical, investigative and academic assets.

Our central location in New York City also provides a unique setting for the educational journey of our residents. Although the expense of life in the “Big Apple” may seem daunting, NewYork-Presbyterian Real Estate offers cosmopolitan and family-friendly housing opportunities for our house staff in the city. Additional affordable housing options are also available for house staff at the NYP Westchester Division.
