Neuropsychological and Educational Assessment Program
Neuropsychological assessments provide useful diagnostic and prognostic information in a wide variety of suspected and confirmed neurological and psychiatric disorders. Our faculty members, who meet the highest standards of education and training in neuropsychology, use the most advanced techniques for behavioral evaluation of brain function in both pediatric and adult patients. Additionally, through their academic appointments at Weill Cornell Medical College, our staff members are involved in clinical research studies designed to advance our understanding of disorders that affect cognitive and personality functioning in patients across the lifespan.
The Secret Agent Society group therapy programming
This fun and innovative way for children ages 8-12 with diagnoses of anxiety or ADHD utilizes espionage-themed games and computer-based learning home missions to engage children in the development of social and emotion regulation skills. Evaluations occur over several sessions to determine an appropriate treatment plan for each child. All children receive a full evaluation before enrollment in any particular program to be sure it is appropriate.
