Early Start Denver Model Introductory Workshop

Early Start Denver Model Advanced Workshop

The ESDM Advanced Workshop focuses on training service providers to deliver the ESDM intervention in a 3-day hands-on workshop format, including hands-on practice with a child with ASD. Trainees must complete participation in the Introductory Workshop before participating in the Advanced Workshop (past or concurrent enrollment). Participants work in small groups to gain experience delivering the ESDM Curriculum Checklist with a child with ASD, writing objectives and creating a data system for the child, and then delivering intervention to the child. Trainees receive feedback on their fidelity and practice taking data. Following the 3-day workshop, there is a certification process. Advanced trainees submit follow-up materials including video examples of intervention and their written intervention programs.
