Adult Addiction Recovery Services

Intensive rehabilitation treatment is provided for alcohol and substance dependence, with or without additional psychiatric disorders. Comprehensive services, individualized for each patient at appropriate levels of care, promote abstinence and recovery.

Treatment Programs

Outpatient Programs

  • Three-phase Intensive Day and Evening Programs
  • Intensive Rehab Day Program - 9 am to 2 pm, 5 days per week
  • Half-day Program - 9 am to 11:45 am, 6 days per week
  • Dual diagnosis group
  • Group for hearing-impaired patients
  • After-school Adolescent Program

Inpatient Programs

  • Addiction Recovery Program at Westchester Division
  • Substance Abuse Program at Payne Whitney

Program Features

Comprehensive evaluations - medical, psychiatric, psychosocial, spiritual, vocational

  • Psychiatric follow-up with medication management
  • Individual counseling
  • Group counseling, including education on addiction, medical consequences, relapse prevention, 12-step, gender specific, and dual diagnosis
  • Family counseling, including multi-family groups
  • Collaboration and discharge planning with referring clinicians
  • Flexible program hours - days, evenings and week-ends

Financial Information

Managed care plans, other insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay are accepted.
